Sanofi Pasteur is seeking an individual for a post-doctoral fellowship to help identify and advance transformative vaccine candidates. This position is located at the highly collaborative and dynamic VaxDesign site in Orlando, Florida. The selected candidate will develop multiplexed bead- or plate-based clinical assays for characterizing cell-mediated immune responses to vaccination. These assays will be used to execute biomarker discovery studies to understand the influence of age and pre-existing immunity on the development of the cellular immune response to vaccine candidates. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in assay development and sterile technique as well as a strong understanding of immunology.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Immunology or Microbiology or related field, with 0-2 years of postdoctoral training
• Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment
• Strong publication record
• Excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to work independently
• Must have permanent US work authorization
